Evangelisation in the Family is a series of ten talks which will soon begin in our Parish Centre. The topics deal with how we live and share our faith. They challenge us to develop our apostolate in the Church, using our gifts and talents and energies, so that individuals, our families and parish communities can experience new life and vitality.
Today more than ever the Church needs Christians who are deeply moved by an awareness of their mission in the world, and are convinced of the missionary identity of the Church – let’s remember the Church exists to share and evangelise! Evangelising Catholic families is critical in our culture today. For many of us the question of evangelisation in our own family can be a difficult one. This course seeks to give a spiritual and practical answer to that question.
Each illustrated and interactive talk begins and ends with prayer. The sessions take place every third Thursday of the month in the Parish Centre from 7.30 – 9.00pm. Each talk last for 30 minutes, followed by a short discussion, and concluding with tea/coffee and biscuits.
This series of talks is open to everyone, including those out with our parish, young and old, practicing and lapsed, married or single. This is a great way to learn and understand more about our faith and ways to share that wisdom with others. Our first session is this Thursday at 7.30pm so please come along and spread the word!
