Many thanks to Irish Singer Dana for entertaining everyone at St. Augustine’s last night with an uplifting concert in our Church. Dana sang ‘All Kinds of Everything’ the song which brought her to stardom in 1970. She sang religious songs and hymns, and spoke of the power of her Catholic faith in her life. She also sang ‘Good morning Jesus’ with our primary school children, before ending a memorable night with one of her most famous songs ‘Our Lady of Knock, Golden Rose’.
Many thanks to all those who supported this event, with a special thanks to parents for bringing their children to perform with Dana.
Thanks also to Dana for making the journey over the Irish Sea to be with us in Coatbridge. We are grateful, too, that she was able to stay behind last night to meet with people, to sign CD’s and for photographs and the odd ‘selfie’!
Below you will find a series of photos from the night. Click on each image to enlarge.
