St. Augustine’s recently celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi with a Blessed Sacrament Procession followed by a Holy Hour of prayer and adroation. We were delighted to see many of our First Communicants, all dressed for the occasion, leading the procession from the Parochial Hall to an altar set-up at the steps of the Church, with the young girls scattering petals along the procession route. After leaving the lovely sunshine outisde the congregation proceeded into the Church where Fr. Ross Campbell gave a powerful homily on the importance of Eucharistic adoration. Solemn evening prayer was led by cantors, with musical accompaniment from the organ and the new youth music group.
